The Lake Mulwala Buyer Network is owned and operated by Seeliger Real Estate ("we", "us"). We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) in relation to electronic messages.
When you join our buyer register we collect the details you provide: your name, contact details, property preferences (budget, bedrooms, areas, timeframe, finance status) and the description of what you're looking for. When you browse this site we collect standard, non-identifying analytics such as pages viewed and general location.
We use buyer register information for one purpose: to match you with properties and send you the property alerts you've requested by SMS and email. We use website analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not sell your personal information.
You will only receive property alerts if you have opted in. Every alert includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent stops alerts; it does not affect any existing dealings you have with our agency.
Your information is held by Seeliger Real Estate. We use trusted service providers (such as our website host, database, and SMS/email providers) to operate the buyer register; they may handle your information only as needed to provide those services and are required to protect it. We do not disclose your information to other real estate agencies or advertisers.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls on our systems. Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask us to delete your buyer register entry, at any time. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we will respond promptly; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
